Refund policy

A. Right of withdrawal

Introduction

Consumers whose habitual residence is in a member state of the EU have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside his or her trade, business or profession. Consumers whose habitual residence is in a non‑EU country have no right of withdrawal, unless expressly agreed otherwise in the individual case. Mandatory consumer protection rights of the state of the customer’s habitual residence remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without needing to specify a reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you and who is not the carrier, takes physical possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MBR Skin GmbH, Edelhofweg 8-9, 08280 Aue-Bad Schlema, Germany, Tel.: +(49) 37 72 – 39 52 8-0, email: info@mbrskin.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e‑mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, which is, however, not mandatory.

To reserve your right of withdrawal, it is sufficient that you submit the notice of withdrawal before the expiration of the withdrawal deadline.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal electronically by using the withdrawal function (“withdrawal button”) provided in our online shop. After clicking the button, you will be redirected to a form where you can submit your withdrawal by providing the required contract data. We will then confirm receipt of your withdrawal without undue delay on a durable medium (e.g. by e‑mail), stating the content of your declaration of withdrawal as well as the date and time of its receipt.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the most favourable standard delivery offered), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days starting the day we received your declaration of withdrawal from the contract. We use the same means of payment that was used in the original transaction for the refund, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received back the goods or you have demonstrated that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You are to send or deliver the goods promptly and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion and premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

General information

1) Please avoid damage to and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods, if possible, in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use a protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure that the goods are adequately protected against transport damage with suitable packaging.

2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.

3) Please note that the above items 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
